Can you introduce yourself in a few words?
I am Laetitia DUGRAIN, a graduate of IÉSEG (Grande École Program, class of 2008). After starting my career in the field of communication, I quickly joined the IÉSEG Alumni Association at its very beginning, when it had only 3,000 members. Today, our network brings together more than 20,000 graduates spread across over 130 countries, managed and united by a team of 5 employees.
As the Director of the Alumni Association, what is the impact of the Association in supporting the Foundation’s initiatives?
IÉSEG graduates are proud of their school and share a strong sense of belonging. Grateful for what they received during their studies, many wish, in turn, to contribute to the success of future generations. This commitment takes many forms: sharing their experience through mentoring or career talks, participating in the life of the School as members of admissions panels or at company forums, contributing financially to its development, or getting involved alongside the IÉSEG Foundation.
The Association thus plays an essential role in maintaining this connection between graduates, the School, and the Foundation, and in encouraging everyone to give back in turn.
What made you want to get involved with the IÉSEG Foundation, particularly through the Challenge des Promos?
Every year, the Association organizes class reunions to celebrate 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, or even 40 years since graduation. These events are an opportunity to reconnect, return to IÉSEG, and reminisce about the years that shaped our journeys, as well as the friendships and encounters that often made a difference in our lives.
These reunions are also a wonderful opportunity for us to give back in turn. Through the Challenge des Promos, the IÉSEG Foundation invites graduates to contribute to equal opportunities by funding living scholarships for 25 students starting this academic year, enabling them to continue their studies under good conditions.
Giving today means offering a new generation the chance to fully experience life at IÉSEG and to become the Changemakers of tomorrow.
