On March 31st, the IÉSEG Foundation had the pleasure of welcoming Nicolas WALLAERT (PGE 95), CEO of Cofidis Group and a major sponsor of the Foundation, for a special exchange with the beneficiary students.
An inspiring meeting
During this meeting, Nicolas WALLAERT shared his experience with sincerity and generosity, his choices that led to the success of his career, and practical advice for succeeding in professional life.
The students were able to share their journeys, ambitions, and the impact of the Cofidis scholarship, a true mark of trust that allows them to move forward with confidence and determination.
It was a powerful moment with interactive and inspiring exchanges, giving a very concrete dimension to Nicolas WALLAERT’s commitment.

Sponsorship in the service of students
For 2 years, COFIDIS has been working alongside the IÉSEG Foundation to promote Equal Opportunities. Already, nearly a hundred deserving students from modest backgrounds have been able to receive a scholarship, giving them access to an excellent education.
The beneficiary students have been able to testify to the importance of this scholarship for continuing their studies:
- concrete support that allows them to focus on their academic goals
- encouragement to pursue ambitious projects despite financial obstacles
- recognition of their journeys
A shared ambition for inclusion
COFIDIS’s commitment does not stop there. It also takes action upstream in the journeys, to raise awareness of opportunities from an early age, support career paths, and strengthen self-confidence, in order to combat self-censorship.
Because we share a strong common belief: potential does not depend on one’s background, but on the opportunities each person receives.
